Arrre arre. Lads we were forced to walk the plank tonight arrre. And we did it well!! Defeated by 96 runs but it wasn't about the game but about the highlights!!! Classic catches were the order of the night and boy did we get 'em! Daints took some lovely catches moving out from behind the stumps and running down the wicket to take them. Jacko pulled out some equally great glove work with some nice reflex catching. Thorpe took some fine catches on the back net including a juggled one hander in the corner. Little Mahster chimed in with a one hander off about nine nets. I even took an overhead one hander. But the stand out was Phil. First he took a bobled beauty off the side net, then followed it up with a catch that only Phil could take. I know of no other man who can catch a ball that has already gone past him. The other times I have seen him do it, it was with one hand. But tonight he had enough time to take it with two hands when the ball had already gone about two meters past him. Freak. Well done boys, a loss doesn't do any harm at this end of the season. Arrrre.
