This game we lost the toss and were sent into bat.
Dog and Dave opened the batting making a nice 34 runs, then Bob and myself batted after being runout second ball, and being hit on the legs several times we eventually made 14. Jarrod and Richard made 31, and Mark & Pax made 24. We totalled 103.
The opp then came out and their first pair made 53. The second pair made 18.
I bowled both my overs to the second pair, all up they weren't to bad, got a couple of wickets through catches and runouts. My bowling was mostly straight with a couple of quicker balls. Their third pair lost 4 wickets in their first over and finished the partnership on zero. The final pair gave it a go to win the match, and needed 15 from the final over, but lost a couple of wickets. They finished on 89.
Richard had a great night in the field, taking some remarkable one handed catches and some great runouts. I'm going to get some shin guards to bat in.. until I can play every ball with the bat. Cause my right leg has some bruising.
