Our opponents tonight had atleast 4 fillin players, who fillin for alot of teams. Some of them we played against last week also. This afternoon I bought myself some shin guards. This is due to being hit last week several times on the legs... I really need to learn to hit the ball when it's fast and straight.

We had to field first, cause at the start of the game the opponents only had 5 players. The first pair that batted for them also batted first last week against us and made 53. This week we held them to 39. Pax bowled second over to them and had about 22 hit from the over, I bowled the third over which brought the score back a bit with some runouts. My second over was to the second pair and started with a wide down leg side which the batter had a swing at and left his crease, and got runout. It could have been possible to get the mankad, as one of the batters kept leaving his crease.

We missed a couple of runout chances and catches, but did enough to keep the score down. They finished on 70 runs.

Dog and Phil batted first for us, and started on -10 due to Phil and Jacko's top colour. They probably made about 40 off the bat, but got out alot of times and finished with the score on -15. Bob and myself batted second. We decided to not take stupid risky runs. This seemed to work. I got hit on the legs a few times, which in outdoor would have been out LBW. I got bowled a couple of times, played a couple of nice shots, one went straight which we only just got a run for, due to a miss field.

We finished our second pair on 12 for a partnership of 27. Jarrod and Jacko batted 3rd and were fairly consistent, and made 39 for the pair. Pax and Mark batted last needing another 20 to win. They bat well together, Pax can pick the fielder to hit the ball to. They ended up making 35. For a final score of 86. We might move up the ladder depending on the other results.
