Arrre lads. So close again boys. It would have been a fantastic win. We just let em get a few too many runs on the board. Thorp showed what he was after and put us right in with a sniff and Pax backed him brilliantly. A truly great effort fellas. I thought we all bowled pretty well but our fielding let us down at times, but overall a good effort. Again Philbert was disrespected by the opposition but this time by the batsmen with skull removing his box at the start of Philberts over. Philbert of course then put a few nice shortish ones in to try and wobble middle stump but couldn’t quite sneak one through. I think the partnerships were Philbert & King 18ish, Cap’n & Mahster 32ish, Don & Raddis 19ish, Pax and Thorp 45ish. No one was disgraced there so well done lads. Next week is the early game, 6.20pm.
