MVP - 4th & 11th December

I’m obviously a bit more tech savvy than the Cap’n as I’ve managed to figure out how to get into the new version of the Blog.

Adding to the slackness of the last few weeks, this will be a “double banger” giving two weeks worth of votes. Unfortunately, I’m still yet to receive anything for our last week from Bendy and The King. If I can get something out of them I’ll make sure I update it, so these results are still provisional……..

The King carried on his good form, showing another week in the top 3 and pushing himself clear on the ladder, while in the second week, the Cap’n received all Best On Grounds. Sadly, I’m still waiting for votes as above to confirm him as all 7 best on ground votes. Come on boys! This is HISTORY!!

Final 3-2-1 were:

Votes for MVP

4/12/06

3 – The King - "Starred with the ball, Pup-like in the field."

2 – Daints - "The spin king strikes again."

1 – Little Mah- Star - "Just when you think he has nothing left to give......."

11/12/06

3 – The Cap’n - "One of the finest batting performances of the last decade."

2 – The Don - "Old, but so is Glenn McGrath...."

1 – Bendy - "One word. Hat trick."

MVP Running Total

6 – The King

4 – Little Mah-Star, Daints

3 – Bruce, The Cap’n

2 – The Don

1 – Bendy

With a big week from The Cap’n, it’s taken him and the Little Mah-Star to the lead in the pairs. Interesting to note that the top two pairs have had one member in the top 3 for each round this season, giving them a clear lead on the rest of the pack.

Pairs Totals:

Cap’n – Little Mah-Star – 49

Don – King – 44

Bruce – Jacko – 21

Daints – Thorpe – 19

Bendy – Bruce – 11

Daints – Jacko - 10
