MVP 17/7/06 - Dream Team

A pretty even performance in the field and a standout batting performance by the final pair decided the votes for Monday night. Both Pax and Daints received votes from all players and, for the first time, a clean sweep of all 3 votes. After that it was down to which one would take the 3 and who the 2,In the end, it was Pax’s bowling and a couple of great stumpings that sealed the vote.

After Monday night, Pax and Daints have all but put a lock on the Pairs title streaking to an all but unassailable 42 point lead. And I’d go so far to suggest that if neither of them received any votes for tonight’s game then we probably won’t be playing in the Grand Final anyway!
