Yorkie MVP

I am pleased to announce the beginning of the "Yorkie DM Blog MVP
Award". Following each game, all members of the team can submit to me their
top three players using the traditional 3-2-1 system. This may be done
straight after the game or during the week via whichever method you may
choose.

Rules are as follows:

1. No player may vote for themselves.


2. Votes must be in by 8:30 a.m. Friday of the game week.


3. Votes will be tallied and points awarded, again on a 3-2-1 basis for the
   three highest scoring players.


4. Drew will be notified of the results to be updated to his blog.


5. All players are eligible to vote and be voted for including fill-ins.


6. Votes may be cast on whichever basis you choose, it's not necessarily
   whoever takes the most wickets or makes the most runs.


7. Votes during finals will be worth double points (6-4-2).


8. An award/trophy will be presented to the MVP at the end of each season.


9. As this is not Dave Cricket I will not automatically win every season.
