Capn's comments v Plaster masters

Arrrre me harties. An excellent game of cricket resulting in an excellent win. I consulted the King upon winning the toss his wise council said to have a bowl. This we did, and did well. Keeping this team to just over 100 is quite a good effort.

The King opened the bowling and did so very well indeed, as did all our bowlers for the first pair. Mahster elected not to join us until over number four but this didn't halter our progress too much. Philbert was at his viscous best with the ball while bowling and fielding, very impressive. Pax once again played the role of the go to man with the ball and did everything I asked of him. Overall we were very good in the field, my rerturn throw into the stomach of the batsmen was probably a highlight, although it did have me a little worried when I went out to bat.

When we did bat the King and Philbert went off. Posting a massive plus 50 opening partnership that helped to set up the win, Philbert went with anger and power while the King was his majestic best playing some sweet sweet shots. Cap and Mahster did okay but lost a few too many wickets, but both also played some great shots. Don and Raddis showed why they are one of the most successful partnerships of all time by batting superbly together, Raddis with his foot speed and the Don with his Grace and power. Pax and the ever young Jacko came out to finish things off. Pax was clean bowled on the jackpot ball, just to make his task a tad harder. He then went on to play some fantastic strokes to keep the score moving. Jacko however showed his youth and enthusiasm by taking to the bowlers with all his might. The massive hook shot he played to the short ball he recieved was nothing short of brilliant.

Home by enough to be comfortable. A great job lads. Arrre.
Cap'n Bob.
