Arrre me lads. Twas a good try, we were not disgraced but we were certainly outplayed. We will need to be on top of our game Wednesday night if we are to get another crack at the final. Bruce and the Don batted with some gusto, Phil and King got cleaned up, so too myself and the Mahster, Thorp and Pax were almost within range but against a quality bowling attack like that showed that sometimes they too struggle. We bowled and fielded well but we just couldn't get the needed wickets, again some suspect run out calls went against us but I'm not sure of the difference they would have made in the end. A good effort but we will need to play a lot harder Wednesday night against Black Hill, we have a good record against them but we will need to be sharp. Get your votes in as early as you can and we will see you for 6.20pm Wednesday. We will be batting first to give Bruce a chance to get back from Melbourne. Fire up big lads. Fire right up.
