Arrre boys. A tough game tonight, and I think we can hold our heads high tonight. Although we got cleaned up in the end, it was a very hard fought game, and we kept ourselves in it right to the end. The big partnership of our innings was the old combo of Rabai Prince Raddis Raddemaker and The Don. They put on a solid 35 and showed why they like to bat together. The rest of the pairs all made around 20. In the field we were a little wayward, missing a few opportunities, but we still didn't disgrace ourselves. The Don took a beautiful low down vote searching one handed catch, that almost caused him to bleed. Pax was fantastic behind the stumps again, helping to look our bowling look better than it really is. I picked up a stumping from his skills. I didn't have a bad night in the field and my second over had some highlights. The Don went well behind the stumps for his first time in a while. All the quicker lads got some good swing with the ball but this didn't always work in our favour, as it was swinging very late and very far. Well done boys, and we will see you all back next week for a big win. Arrre.
Cap'n Bob.
