MVP 10/10/06 - The Bulls

Better late than never…

Another even round of voting with good all round performances by most players. Everyone received votes except for Raddis this week. Didn’t take too long to get sick of him. A surprising result for the Cap’n, 5 out of 7 people thought he was the best on ground, 2 didn’t give him any votes at all. Obviously they were looking the other way when he did his stuff. Also, from the comments, good to see Pax getting votes for getting hit in the head and The King scoring a few for bringing his lady friend along.

Final 3-2-1 were:

Votes for MVP

3 – Cap’n – “Still the best captain in the comp.”

2 – Pax– “Thought he used his head well.”

1 – Daints - "For being 6ft 4…or it’s a no ball.”

That sees the Cap’n take the lead away from Bendy, but with Bendy back in the team after a two week break, watching the boys go head to head could see a Willie Mason – David Kidwell type clash in the field.

Running Total MVP

11 – Cap’n

10 –Bendy

9 – Phil

8 - Pax

6 – Thorpe

3 – The Don, Little Mah-Star, Daints

2 – Chanka, Harmer, The King, Raddis

More votes for the Cap’n/Mah-Star combination this week sees them move even further ahead, cracking the century. Unstoppable? I’d say so.

Pairs Totals:

Cap’n – Little Mah-Star – 111

The Don – The King – 69

Pax – Bendy – 64

Daints – Thorpe – 51

Pax – Daints - 37

The King – Phil – 35

Milestones:

* Cap’n joins Pax at the top of the MVP All Time Votes list

* Pax breaks 100 total votes.

* The Don - King combination also breaks 100 votes for the pairing. Previous pairs past the century are Pax – Daints and Cap’n – Little Mah-Star.

* Cap’n- Little Mah-Star become the first pair to score 100 votes in a season.
